The idea
Starting something new always begins with a spark of inspiration and for me, that spark was the idea of creating a unique and meaningful experience for newly engaged brides. As someone already immersed in the world of weddings, I knew there was space for something more personal, something that offered excitement, guidance and a touch of self-care during what can often be an overwhelming time. That’s how Love & Beyond was born.
The First Steps
When I first started thinking seriously about launching a bridal subscription box, I knew it had to be more than just a collection of pretty things. It needed to feel special and curated with purpose but also designed to support brides through every stage of planning their big day. I spent weeks researching the market, sketching out ideas and gathering inspiration.
Branding and Building the Vision
One of the most exciting parts of this journey was naming the brand. I wanted something that reflected the joy of engagement but also hinted at the emotional depth and commitment that comes with marriage. After lots of brainstorming, Love & Beyond felt just right. It’s about love in the now and all the beautiful moments that follow.
From there, I began building the boxes around key milestones in the wedding planning journey. I chose themes that would resonate with real brides and filled each one with items that are both practical and thoughtful. I also made a conscious effort to support other small businesses and indie brands, many of which are featured in the boxes.
Curating the First Boxes
I’m so proud of what we’ve created in our first three boxes:
- Pop the Bubbly – A celebratory box for newly engaged brides featuring a trinket dish, a must-have guidebook, a luxe scrunchie, eye patches, and a lip balm. The first 20 founding members will also receive an exclusive bridal bag as a thank you!
- Planning My Happily Ever After – Focused on getting organised, this box includes a beautiful wedding planner, face mask, jade roller, gold pen, and ‘Will You Be My Bridesmaid?’ cards.
- The Chilled out Bride – This third box is all about confidence and self-care in the final countdown. (More on that soon!)
Behind the Scenes
There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes too. I’ve built the website using Elementor, developed a customer journey map and created a subscription model offering monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly plans. I’ve also been working hard on marketing—growing our social media accounts, creating a content calendar and connecting with brands and wedding suppliers to add even more value to our boxes.
What’s Next?
With launch day fast approaching in June, I’m feeling all the emotions, excitement, nerves, pride and hope. My goal is to sell at least 20 boxes in our first month, with brides signing up for the monthly or bi-monthly plans. Every single subscription means the world to me and I can’t wait to see Love & Beyond in the hands of brides across the UK.
This journey has been such a mix of creativity, strategy and heart. If you’re a bride-to-be, or know someone who is, I’d love for you to be part of the Love & Beyond community. We’re here to celebrate your love story and support you every step of the way.
